Manor CE Academy is a school that I have absolutely loved attending. This is not only because of the excellent teaching and attitude to learning that is widely encouraged, but because the school’s ethos is authentically lived out by the staff and students alike.
During my time here, I have been able to experience how the values: serving others; growing together; and living life to the full are woven into the learning experience. This means that being gracious, compassionate, loyal, patient, kind, forgiving and just, are all things that the school strives to pass on to all the students. I am really enjoying representing the school at various public events because of how much it means to me to be a part of it.
Throughout my time as a student at Manor, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to learn and develop not only within class but also in extra-curricular groups and clubs. Students at Manor are able to participate in a variety of activities, from sports and games to politics and debating,to music and theatre and much more.
Since Year 7, I have played for the school’s ultimate frisbee team. Every year I have played for the Manor team in the National Schools’ Tournament and for the last two years I have represented Great Britain in the Under 17s European Youth Championships.
This October I am looking forward to going to Malawi with a group of 15 other students for 10 days.
I am glad that this school has offered me such chances and would encourage all students to embrace the opportunities that this wonderful school can give them.
We’ve just spotted this. Well done Abigail! pic.twitter.com/uuTj…
Emblazon have reassured us that they are working hard to resolve the situation and they will inform parents as soon as the stock is available, we will also update you as soon as we know the stock has come into store.
We have been made aware that there is an issue with the supply of both the Upper and Lower school MCE pullovers from Emblazon. Please be assured that there will be no consequences for any students not wearing the pullover when we return in September.
