Most people will recognise it as the harlequin-clad building seen from the ring road. However, inside is the real surprise.
Built around an amazing theatre space, The Hive contains spaces for rehearsal and the development of media courses. The space also contains a fully operational café/bar operated by students studying catering and hospitality and a gallery area for drinks and socialising when productions are on.
The Hive is also the home of the Ebor Hope Teaching Schools Alliance.
The theatre space has seating for 210 and is fully DDA compliant. It is the venue for travelling theatre groups as well as the annual school musical.
On any weekend The Hive is being used by dance and drama groups and during the week it is a training venue for the teaching school.
As with many of Manor CE Academy’s facilities, The Hive is available for hire, to find our more, click here
