Vacancy: School Staff Instructor (SSI) – Combined Cadet Force (CCF)
Salary: £5,000 per annum plus up to 51 days Voluntary Allowance (split funded post between Academy and MoD)
Working pattern: 40 days term time + max 20 days + max 51 days VA
Accountable to: Contingent Commander (member of School staff)
Manor CE Academy are seeking to appoint a School Staff Instructor (SSI) for their Combined Cadet Force (CCF) with immediate effect.
This position would ideally suit someone with a SNCO or above military background with RQ/QM experience, although this is not essential.
Manor CCF was started in September 2017. It has had a very successful year to date and there is a waiting list of students wishing to join. There is a small and extremely enthusiastic team of CFAVs. Despite having relatively little military experience, much has been achieved in the unit and aspirations for the future are high. Our cadets are motivated and keen to be the best that they can be.
It is envisaged that Manor CCF will continue to grow and form an integral part of the extra-curricular life of the Academy. It is envisaged that the SSI will play a formative role in establishing the CCF further as a major part of the learning and leadership development opportunities offered to the learners of the Academy.
