The Pupil Premium is a government grant to schools for students who are in receipt of free school meals, who have been registered for free school meals within the last six years, or, who are looked after by the care system and children who have been adopted or whose parents or carers are serving in the Armed Forces. The Pupil Premium funding was introduced in April 2011.

Year 7 Catch-up funding
The Government provides additional funding to schools for Year 7 pupils who did not achieve the expected standard in English or Maths at the end of key stage 2.
As we continue to follow the Government and Public Health England updates, we are implementing the essential wearing of face coverings in all internal communal areas unless pupils are seated and eating in the dining areas (e.g corridors, the Y11 balcony, hall and Lunchbox) 1
