Inside the entrance to Manor CE Academy, in our planners and on all our communications you will find our three aims. They reflect the teaching by Jesus on three key areas, so serving others, growing together and living life to the full all reflect what we aim for as a church school community.
Jesus claimed he did not come to be waited on hand and foot, but to do the waiting. That is still a radical claim that challenges our social order. Our best are here to serve others.
Growing together is always difficult as we are individuals, however when we get it right, it can be wonderful. The Christian faith should not limit our human potential but should set us free to be the people we were designed to be.
The values we want to see developed in our young people were first explored by the Jewish people 2,500 years ago as what made the good man or woman. We want each young person to be gracious, compassionate, loyal, patient, kind, forgiving and just. These are values that have stood the test of time and will be as relevant to our descendants in another 2,500 years.
Great to attend the ASDAN coffee morning today in The Hub. They were completing one of their challenges to work on their teamwork and communication skills. They did a great job! #WellDone #Communication #Hospitality pic.twitter.com/2beMPLc7Rz
Here’s Shea (on her birthday), Emily, Ellie and Anna. They organised high tea yesterday at Armana House for the residents to celebrate the Queen’s birthday with Mr Rab as part of their leadership award. The Lord Mayor attended too. #welldone #BeTheChange @ABYyouthtrust pic.twitter.com/7gt4UQ0Dat
