Vacancy: Chaplaincy Worker
Salary: Grade 3
Contract type and term: One-year contract, two days per week (term time only)

Tees Valley Youth for Christ are seeking to employ a Chaplaincy Worker at Manor Church of England Academy in York.
We are looking for an approachable and supportive member to join the Chaplaincy team. The role will involve working with the school ethos team to promote and develop the spiritual aspects of the school.
Manor CE Academy has a desire to develop pupils in their spiritual and moral education and therefore this role will be an essential part of the school community.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with 11-16 year olds, developing collective worship across the school, 1-1 mentoring and clubs throughout the week.
Experience of working with young people in this age range is essential.
Essential to this role is a willingness to promote Christian Values and Ethos and to work closely within a church school environment. There is an occupational requirement that the role holder is a committed Christian in accordance with Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

We have been made aware that there is an issue with the supply of both the Upper and Lower school MCE pullovers from Emblazon. Please be assured that there will be no consequences for any students not wearing the pullover when we return in September.
